Hubei University
Hubei University, or Hubei University for short, is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is a provincial key comprehensive university jointly built by the People's Government of Hubei Province and the Ministry of Education. It ranks among the "double first-class" construction universities in Hubei Province, and has been selected into the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Colleges and Universities in Central and Western China", the "111 Plan", the Hubei 2011 Plan, the national undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, the national new engineering research and practice project, and the "100 University Project" of China. It is a national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, an institution for receiving Chinese government scholarships for overseas students, and an institution for receiving Confucius Institute scholarships. As of October 2021, the school has three campuses: Wuchang Main Campus, Hankou Campus and Yangluo Campus. It covers an area of more than 2000 mu, with a total construction area of 710000 square meters.
